Why there's no pricing page behind this pricing page
Most "free" software has a pricing page because it isn't really free — it's a funnel. BlueFin's tools run as plain calculations in your own browser, so there's no per-user server cost that a subscription would normally exist to cover. The thing that keeps this free is the same architecture that keeps your numbers private: nothing you type ever has to touch a server we'd be paying to run.

- Is this actually free, or free-with-a-catch?
- Actually free. There's no hidden tier, no "pro" version, and no feature held back behind a paywall. Every calculator on this site does the full calculation, every time.
- How do you keep the lights on, then?
- The tools run entirely in your browser, so there's no server-side compute cost per calculation — the architecture that makes BlueFin privacy-first is the same one that makes it cheap to keep free. If that changes, it'll be through something like unobtrusive ads on content pages, never a paywall on the tools themselves.
- Will there be a paid plan later?
- No plans to add one. If BlueFin ever adds anything beyond the current free toolkit, it'll be more tools and guides, not a tier system.
- Do you sell my data instead of charging money?
- No — see the privacy page. Calculator inputs never leave your browser, so there's nothing about your numbers to sell in the first place.
