1. What cookies we use

• Preference cookie (bluefin_privacy_choice):a first-party cookie recording whether you've allowed or opted out of analytics. Lasts up to 1 year, or until you clear your browser cookies.
• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4): set by Google to distinguish users and sessions for aggregate, anonymous usage reporting. These load automatically on an opt-out basis unless you opt out or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, in which case they never load at all.
• Advertising cookies (Google AdSense, where enabled): on pages showing an ad unit, Google may set cookies to deliver and measure ads. These follow the exact same opt-out and GPC rules as our analytics cookies below — one choice controls both.

BlueFin's calculators themselves do not use cookies or any other storage mechanism — calculator inputs live only in your browser's memory for the current page session and are never persisted.

2. Global Privacy Control (GPC)

If your browser or a browser extension sends a GPC signal, BlueFin automatically treats it as a complete, immediate opt-out of both analytics and advertising cookies — equivalent to clicking "Do not sell or share" in our cookie banner. No further action is required, and neither script loads for a browser sending this signal.

3. Managing your preference

Use the "Manage preferences" control in the cookie banner shown on your first visit, or clear your browser cookies to reset your choice and see the banner again. You can also block cookies entirely at the browser level, which will prevent the preference cookie and any analytics or advertising cookies from being set.
